Goals
My focus as a groomer is caring for animals in the gentlest, most effective way while using my creativity to make the animals and owners proud of how they look. I am constantly looking for ways to do this through learning. My current focuses are shampoo chemistry and animal behavior, specifically rehabilitation of dogs with behavioral issues in the grooming setting.
My second is education. My teaching background followed me into the world of dog grooming and pet care. I love to help share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the past two decades. People appreciate knowing why their dog is acting the way he is, or why their dog’s fur tangles and won’t brush out. I love to help people, both adult and child,understand why their four legged family member behaves the way he does.
